From the parking area along County Line Road, my watch calculated 2.75 miles for the loop around the reservoir. Beautiful morning!
The walk is around or close to 8000 steps. The sunset with the reflection of the water is not thing short of magic! There are some fishing activities but it seems with my conversion, fish are not biting today! This is now known as James Unruh reservoir, it is part of the water intake with feed into the A. B. Jewell T.
I run or walk here all the time. Never ever leave anything of value in your vehicle because if they see something they’ll break in and steal it. I’ve never had a problem but see glass on the ground and here about cars being broken into. It’s gorgeous and so peaceful out here, I even feel safe going alone.
Great walking trail, peaceful and quiet. Fishing is allowed. Dogs and bikes welcome. The sunsets/ sunrises are nothing but pure awesomeness. Lock your doors and hide your valuables before embarking on the 3 mile loop.
