Confirmed from Abersham Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil, paved path and greenway where people can walk and bike.
What runners say about Abersham Park
“Beautiful place to walk with small rolling hills and easy walking terrain.”
Very nice all paved nature walk. If you start from the lower parking lot, the whole walk is flat (i.e. great for wheelchair) but also feels remote. Areas are marked as milkweed areas which will support monarch butterflies (in season).
Just found out this park is here. I did not have enough time to check it all out but I posted pictures of the park map. It is very clean. I didn't see any playgrounds or ball fields so walkers, runners, and bicyclists should have the place to themselves.
Enjoyed walking here. The greenway path is paved and flat with (for the most part) trees on one side and a field on the other. Lots of birds, kind walkers and runners.
Pleasant, never really busy. Excellent biking exercise. Appx 2.5- 3.0 miles to complete the loop at one of the two parking spots. Picnic tables and nice bird watching available too. Well maintained. Nice moderate hills keep the heart active. Numerous trails off the pavement that we haven’t tried out yet.
