Confirmed from Acacia Reservation's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful, serene, and welcoming place to walk. It’s large, so although it may look busy you won’t feel like you’re surrounded by others. Also, feels very safe when I’ve gone walking here. Bathroom was clean as well.

This is a hidden gem in NE Ohio, especially in the fall. It's absolutely breathtaking to walk along the paths admiring the glorious color of the changing season. There are a few walking or hiking options & the paths are mostly flat. There's a nice restroom & plenty of parking.

One of my favorite parks in the city, great views and trails. Extremely well maintained and cared for. There are benches along the trails to sit. Check it out!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 10 mentions

“More great aspects of this park are that there is covered seating, a bathroom, a field to play outdoor sports, and picnic benches to eat at.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
