Confirmed from Airport Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Airport Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (312 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“To breathe clean air to enjoy the small things that God has for us out there the sound of a bird just something to get out of the house.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Being at the foot of the eastern hills gives it great views, and the grass field meant for soccer is maintained and kept beautiful.”

I use Airport Park for walking. There is a trail that follows a rectangular path around the sports fields. Each lap is 0.5 miles. Make sure you have sturdy shoes; the asphalt is far from perfect and is a bit rough.... The walking trail has now been resurfaced and is much smoother and less brutal on the shoes!

Love this park you can do lot of exercise times to use and beautiful view of the mountains and the D hill

Visited this park with the kiddos, an it was great, this park has a small playground with sand, an some swings. It is a sport plex, soccer fields, a large walking track with exercise stations ment for seniors, but anyone can benifit.

Honestly, this is a very nice park in Douglas. Being at the foot of the eastern hills gives it great views, and the grass field meant for soccer is maintained and kept beautiful. The nature trails are also a very nice addition, and I love airports so having it right by the Douglas airport is great.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
