Confirmed from Aliso Peak Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Aliso Peak Trail
“It is a neighborhood trail so it can be crowded and of course great views of Laguna Beach so very popular as an over look.”
Short , 2 miles, but very steep trail, narrow and slippery at times, but with very rewarding ocean and Canyon views
Very steep trail. Short but steep. Views are fantastic from both the peak and from the face of the peak on valido trail. It is a neighborhood trail so it can be crowded and of course great views of Laguna Beach so very popular as an over look.
The view is amazing, but the trail is a mess. The path is dirt and rocks at a high angle. Be careful there.
Very nice, but challenging hike. Beautiful views. Definitely recommend, but encourage taking hiking poles.
