Confirmed from Amelia Earhart Aquatic Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Laid-back space for walking, boating, playgrounds and shelters for parties, plus bike rentals.
What runners say about Amelia Earhart Aquatic Park

This is a nice park to come workout or have a cook out, it does get pretty full on the weekends but there is plenty of space and activities going on. They also have a nice bike trail on the back part of the park. Overall is a great park.
You Can walk the entire park now. A little over 6k. Its a great Pokemon Go Park(6 gyms)(11pokestops) Dog park has a big dog & small dog sides.Bring your own bike or rent them Fri thru Sun & Holidays. There is a (open daily) water park with ramps to jump over or surf board.
Spacious park with plenty of shelters for parties and events. There is a petting zoo, water skiing, biking trails, and walking trails. Plenty of small lakes if you like to sit by the water but there is a warning for alligators or crocodiles.
Absolutely Beautiful❤!!! We love coming here. We bring the kids once a week, to run around and burn some energy. Tons of wildlife, plants and Butterflies.
Trail conditions & character
“Parking is free during the weekdays and on the weekends it is a small fee.”
“There is an area designated for dogs called the bark park where there are tires, concrete tunnels, and lots of shade to keep the dogs cool while playing.”
Plan your run at Amelia Earhart Aquatic Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
