Confirmed from Antelope Trail north loop's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“My visit at The Antelope Trail was the most amazing and beautiful experience ever.”

Beautiful view of the California poppies! Plenty of nice wide sandy paths. This year is definitely the best super bloom ever!

★★★★★ — Karen , Apr 2019

Was fortunate enough to be here during a super bloom. The views were amazing. Flowers growing everywhere. Even without a super bloom it seems like a very nice park to go to. Plenty of trails to walk and run on. Many of the trails are hilly

I come from the City of Downey. Here at Lancaster, it's a different environment. My visit at The Antelope Trail was the most amazing and beautiful experience ever. My family and I, went biking. I totally recommend it.

★★★★★ — Brenda , Apr 2023

This is a beautiful place it's the Poppy Reserve. The whole terrain is covered with orange poppies. There are also yellow flowers and purple lupines and there was one lone Cactus.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 10 mentions

“It's after the peak of the season but there are still plenty of poppies out and the views are still great.”
