Confirmed from Auburn-Fleming Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Auburn-Fleming Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (13 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏃 great for running 2 mentions

“I gave it four stars as it is a great track for jogging.”

Old rail bed trail - short and flat hike a little over 1.5 miles in length. Some nice old bridges and streams that you cross but beware of the swampy areas and mosquitoes during the summer. Can be a nice cross country ski trail during the winter.

★★★★☆ — Matt , Nov 2017

I gave it four stars as it is a great track for jogging. Flat with low impact (relative to asphalt), straight with few folks using it. Could be a bit swampy after rain and others comment about bugs in the summer which makes sense but I ran it on St Patrick’s day so all the bugs were drinking green beer.

★★★★☆ — Stuart , Mar 2024

It's a great trail to walk, run, or bike. Just make sure to bring the bug spray during the summer months.

★★★★★ — Heather , May 2018

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
