Confirmed from Auburndale Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Play & picnic areas, trails, tennis courts & a ball field in a tranquil location by the river.
What runners say about Auburndale Park
“Clean bathrooms in the small administrative building.”
“Great park for running or just going out for a walk to enjoy fresh air.”
“Seems like a really fun family-friendly park with lots of picnic tables for eating and socializing, but I go here mainly for the scenery.”
A small park where the family's kids had a birthday party and the kids loved it, great playground and artificial sandpit with toys. What surprised me the most is that there are good trails here, the Charles River flows through here, I met my favorite swans 🦢, fed them and took pictures 📷.
You can feed ducks, swans, and squirrels. There are amusement parks and sandy grounds, and children are friendly. Can barbecue, need to book in advance. Parking friendly, parking lot. The basketball court . Good for cycling and hiking. Referred to as perfect!
Such a cool little park. Great playgrounds, river views, walking trails, a huge sand pit with play toys, really nice playsets, eating area, and tennis/pickleball. Has a little bit of everything with lots of parking.
Great and spacious park for dog walks and playing. We found a bench and enjoyed the sunshine and passing dogs. A few pieces of exercise equipment available. Basketball, baseball &tennis areas available. Looked clean and well kept. Really very nice. Next time we will explore the trails. Good and easy parking.
