Confirmed from Audubon Community Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature center featuring hiking trails and an eagle rehab facility.
What runners say about Audubon Community Nature Center
“Well maintained and even though there seemed to be quite a few cars in the lot, the trails were not at all busy.”
“The nature center and grounds are beautiful and anyone who loves the outdoors and learning about the wildlife in this area should definitely check it out!”
The trails are well-managed with year-round availability. A photo shows a day work crew went via Bluebird Field to tend to a fallen, balancing tree over a pathway! Safety first! The wildlife is abundant. The landscape is breathtaking in every season.
A great place for kids and adults young at heart. I got to meet the new Red Shouldered Hawk and hiked the yellow trail. You could smell the deer even if you didn’t see them and on my way back, late as usual, I encountered an American Marten and an Eastern king snake. Sorry, badgers did live here once upon a time.
All the people, staff, volunteers, everyone cares here. See wildlife, learn about nature, enjoy a walk at this beautiful location. Bring kids. Nice little gift shop. Consider volunteering here this nonprofit is doing great work.
A beautiful place to hike and explore while enjoying the great outdoors. Many miles of hiking trails with lots of biodiversity to see. The Nature Center is also a plus to check out.
