Confirmed from Bacci Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park with picnic tables and a playground plus a baseball diamond.
What runners say about Bacci Park
“It beautiful there, I just wish there were more nature and less baseball, jungle gyms, but it is very beautiful”
Nice small park with ball fields. Also there is a playground, fishing ponds (for residence only) and a pavilion. Restroom on site. Great access to the towpath. Heading north will take you to the Canal Way Visitor Center, round trip 5 miles. Head South and it will take you to lock 39 trailhead.
Nice park with baseball field, restroom, short walking trail, duck pond and kiddie park. Has links to the towpath trail and many people park here to access. 2023 update: new kiddie park. They did a wonderful job with this!
The new access trail to the neighborhood above is well done, with lighting that's both decorative and functional.
Bacci Park is a very nice place to park your vehicle and go run, walk, or bike the trail. During my time there, I noticed a Park Ranger watching over the facility. I always appreciate what they do to keep us safe and watch over us. I met a new friend to try out a bicycle and it was a very good place to do so.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
