Confirmed from Batavia Township Sports Complex's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with outdoor areas for baseball, soccer and tennis.
What runners say about Batavia Township Sports Complex
“The facilities are always well kept and beautiful.”
“One of the only parks in the area that allows dogs and has a dedicated space for them, a beautiful fenced dog park that separates small and large dogs!”
“The paved trails are perfect for an evening stroll, jog, or bike ride, and there’s plenty of open space for kids to play soccer or ride scooters.”
This is an awesome park! Well maintained, great walking/exercise trail. Also, this park allows your pets to be walked on the walking path.Plenty of room for picnics and sports.
Took the wooded trail today and was pleased to find that they added a few obstacles! Nice little work out! These look temporary but they're sturdy, hopefully this means they'll be adding something permanent soon. My son and I love this park, especially all the excercise equipment along the walking path!
The cleans park 🏞 have been with basketball 🏀 tennis 🎾 walking 🚶 running 🏃 trail 👟 soccer ⚽ and kid's playground. Pets are welcome as long as you pick up after them and keep them on a leash. When attending most games they have a confession stand for snacks and non-acholic drinks. Very secure 🔐
A hidden gem in Clermont County! The park is absolutely beautiful in the late afternoon — golden light filtering through tall trees, long shadows, and peaceful walking paths that make you forget you’re so close to town.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
