Confirmed from Bear Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with picnic tables and trails that's suitable for children.
What runners say about Bear Valley Park
“Nice place to walk 30mins, enjoying the beautiful weather”
“Quiet and plenty of space at Bear Valley Park.”
“Dog friendly but please pick up after your dog!”
Really easy walking trail. Short trails but can easily get an hour in if you do all trails. You have to cross the street to do the other trails. There's a small playground there. Decent views and relaxing. Not crowded at all. Lots of bunnies. No restroom and parking is street only.
Bring a hat and sun grasses, great place to go for a walk. Enjoy the views and walk the circle or go off on one of the paths for a longer walk to some parks.
It's a nice trail with nice views. I took my 5 children for a walk and it was great.
Wonderful place for a nice walk. Well maintained paths and friendly strollers.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
