Confirmed from Bellamy River Wildlife Management Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-maintained park with wooded, waterfront trails ideal for hikers.
What runners say about Bellamy River Wildlife Management Area
“The property is well maintained and there's a wide variety of trails.”
“Absolutely Beautiful A variety of wildlife such as porcupine, fisher, deer, coyote and many birds”
“400 acres of trails, fields, woods, waterfronts, deer, turkeys, turtles, waterfowl, fungi, rabbits, dragonflies, and peaceful tranquility.”
Dog owners beware! Lots of ticks! My dog had over 30+ ticks that were removed from her after a hike here. She is treated to prevent ticks and Lyme disease but I wanted to warn others. That being said, it is a beautiful quiet trail.
Absolutely gorgeous! Very relaxing and quiet! The scenery is stunning. Can bring your dogs...it's very pet friendly area! The people are happy and friendly! Beautiful water views! one of my favorite spots to go on walks! And had a great day outdoors!
Designated parking area, there isn’t a lot of signage to indicate where wildlife area is. Trails are not well defined, mostly go throughout a large field. Great place to view different wildlife/birds. Quiet/peaceful/clean area.
A great place for a long walk. Saw blue birds, pheasant, wood ducks and a fox.

The practical stuff

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.

- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
