This place is very fulfilling as a whole. Parking is never an issue here, and it is near everything; meaning you don't have to do much walking anywhere. The beach area is spacious, the water itself is very clean and at a comfortable temperature. The landscape itself is perfect to spend the day with the family.
Comprehensive review. Beltzville is one of the busiest state parks in Pennsylvania. On a recent 4th of July holiday, the park reached capacity at 9:30 AM. Also check with the park about water conditions and any sudden closures.
What an awesome trail! Very well marked! Vast variety of things to see. It was like 3 completely different hikes rolled into 1! Wish I lived closer to do again! Sincerely one of the nicest hikes ive ever taken!
