We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Benjamin Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“Perfect park to take the kids and play and start the scenic tour of tawawa and the many trails and playgrounds.”

Tawawa is a great place to take a hike or just relax and enjoy the scenery

★★★★★ — T , Jun 2019

Beautiful park with tons of trails and picnic areas. Seems to go on forever as you follow the many streams and tributaries. Tawawa lake offers crappie fishing, several nice playgrounds for the kids and a picturesque covered bridge add to the quaint feel of this Sidney Ohio metro park.

★★★★★ — Ty , Mar 2020

This trial makes you feel like you are no longer in Ohio. Parts of it have a very southern swamp feel to it, which makes it a nice change from many trails in the area. It runs along the river for a good chunk of the way.

★★★★☆ — Thirteendays , Aug 2024

Great trail to spend a few hours on exploring. The end of the trail has a nice section with plenty of rocks in the water to find crayfish.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
