Confirmed from Berlin Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park featuring a baseball field, swings and a playground as well as trails for hiking and biking.
What runners say about Berlin Park
“The child area is newer, clean, and well cared for.”
“Beautiful trails, good for a long walk or light hike.”
Lots of different places for parking and different activities! Looks like lots of improvements have been made recently, including new playground equipment. I wish that there was some more shade near the playground equipment and that the walking trails through the woods had a trail map.
This park has a few parts to it. It’s really nice. I really enjoyed this one tree & the little man made waterfall. There is a little trail in the one part of the park too. A nice place to adventure. I had no idea this hidden gem was next to the Berlin Farmers Market.
A short walk on Joy's Way was very pleasant. At least part of what is labeled as Park Drive is actually a trail.
Wonderful park! I’ve gone here since I was girl and it certainly provokes nostalgic memories of me and dad (RIP). It’s playground is great for all ages and the nature trail is incredible!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
