Confirmed from Bicentennial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Bicentennial Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,197 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Everything is in great condition and maintained.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Best to play in the morning if it's going to be hot that day, as the 3 holes at the beginning and the 3 at the end lack shade.”

A beautiful place where you can take your family, especially kids can enjoy play grounds, spacious area for evening walk and a large area for parking your vehicle.

This is by far one of my most favorite parks in Northern Texas due to its enormous property that allows everyone to come and escape and relax. Whether it's hiking, disc goal, fishing, out -door flag football, to having picnics, etc.. It is a fantastic place to come and let loose.

★★★★★ — Brenson , Feb 2021

The place is definitely an ideal spot for a family picnic. There is 2 or 3 large playgrounds for kids, huge parking lot. There are several tents all across the park where you just seat quietly and enjoy the view of the sunset or read a book. You can go for a walk or ride your bicycle along the trail.

I always love coming to this park. We hike out here a lot. Its very family and dog friendly. We went to the haunted hay ride last night. It is always awesome. There are a lot of functions at this park. My family just loves it. Fun for the whole family.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 5 mentions

“Large grassy open areas to play fetch with your dog or throwing ball with your kids.”
