Confirmed from Big Creek Landing Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Natural area featuring a 4-mile canoe trail, plus opportunities for hiking and camping.
What runners say about Big Creek Landing Recreation Area
Trail too wet after last week's rain. Only able to go about .91 miles. Suggest rain boots.
Another gym in Brooklyn, Mississippi, this recreation area has a boat launch a hiking trail a spot for primitive camping as well as some four wheel trails. This is also a spot where you can launch your kayak if you wanna paddle or float down the creek there is a local service that offers drop off and pick up as well…
Our family, including the golden retriever did the 4 mile canoe trip. It was awesome! The staff is also very friendly.
Trail is nice. Maintenance is being done but mostly volunteers. Funds are limited. Good trail.
