Confirmed from Birchbank Mountain Open Space's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Birchbank Mountain Open Space
“Beautiful sunny ☀️ afternoon in the high 60 -70 I hiked the Blue trail to the Birchbark Mountain Overlook.”
Great trails years past. Now, there are too many dead trees that have fallen on the trails and around the trails. Many trees look sick , dying. I think there are too many vines killing many trees. It's hardening to see.
Beautiful sunny ☀️ afternoon in the high 60 -70 I hiked the Blue trail to the Birchbark Mountain Overlook. This is a long strenuous hike and I brought along my hiking stick, which turned out to be very useful!
