Lovely park. Wide open spaces. Nice play equipment for the kids, lots of separate areas for people to have a little private time. Right on the lake, lots of wildlife to view. Great walking paths through the park and trails to the north in a more rustic setting for trail goers.
Absolutely great place for swimming, biking, frisbee golf and barbecuing with the family and friends! They have benches everywhere as well as barbecue pits and bathrooms with running water. A couple of basketball hoops! It's a nice clean Park!
This park is decent in size. I think the highlight of this park is disc golf. It also has a full basketball court. It has plenty of picnic areas, and almost all the picnic tables have BBQ grills and water fountains right next to them. Some BBQ grills are bigger than others. This park has a nice playground for kids.
I love this park. The mini walking trail around the lake, playground of course, area roped off for swimmers, boat launch, space to put up a volleyball net. My favorite thing is that there are benches on the board walk, so you can walk out and be right on the water sitting. Friendly faces and a good atmosphere!
