Confirmed from Bluff Top Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Beautiful oceanfront park popular with surfers and dog walkers.
What runners say about Bluff Top Park
“My favorite places to play My guitar at all times of the day and night this is beautiful Southern California”
“Clean beach, plenty of area to enjoy, dog beach close by, long walk/ bike path to cruise on down by sand and up on cliff.”
The beach will always get five stars from me, love the sand, sun and surf. You can beachcomb for miles in either direction 🙏🏄🏼♀️🌈🌞⛱️🐚 bring your dog! Dog beach is right here and they can run around with no leash🐶
This is the spot for any sunset in Huntington Beach. Until recently I had no idea this 19.66-acre area was designated as a park space and have spent many evenings watching the waves or a storm roll in from this park. Its a great place to sit and unwind from the day and the path is always filled with smiling faces.
Way back in the day I was a local here and enjoyed Huntington Beach near the pier and never ventured farther north. Today saw the parking area with some vacant spots and tried it out. Parking was $2.25 per hour and payable at a credit card or quarter coin kiosk.
Beautiful area. I love to walk, ride my bike, and lounge in this area. Great spot for a little picnic, overlooking the ocean. Surfers are abundant in this area, also. This is their go to area, from what I have gathered over the past 2.5 years here.

“Only negative thing i have to say it is that unfortunately no dogs are allowed and there are no washing stations to remove sand from body.”
