Confirmed from Bob Noble Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Remain quiet and calm, and they will ignore you.”

Picked up some BBQ sandwiches from Starnes and had lunch in the Park. Afterwards hiked around the Park some over to the Nature Trail. On the way there, passed by the Horseshoe Pit built a few years back that was an Eagle Scout Project. Hasn't seen much use & needs some repair, but overall - still useful.

This is a good park to take your family to and just enjoy the day together. There are play areas for kids, basket ball court's, a skate park, and a pool. This park also has hiking trail that are great for running, bike riding, or walking your dog/dogs.

This place is always so peaceful. Great if you're a Pokémon go fan. The kids musical instrument section is fun to test out.. even for adults. Fishing, dogs, playgrounds, walking. What more could you ask?

★★★★★ — Jessica , Nov 2025

I had a wonderful time spending the afternoon here, as it is such a huge and beautiful space for everyone to enjoy. There is a great mix of things to do, whether you want to take a long walk around the lake, let the kids burn off some energy on the playground, or just find a quiet spot in the grass to read a book.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
