We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Bohrer Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“It's a small park and it's close enough to 355 to not really feel secluded or all that quiet really but it's well kept.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

Bohrer Park is more than a park. It has a pleasant walking trail, ponds with geese, ducks, turtles, and seasonal landscaping throughout. Picnic tables, a super playground, and a large pool with slides, a water park for toddlers, a great skate park and a popular mini golf park, all make it a Gaithersburg must see.

Great for families with kids, adults, and anybody who loves going to the park. “The city's oldest building sits in this city park popular for picnics, walking & mini-golf.” I’ve been to this park twice for two Taiwanese Association of America Greater Washington Chapter events.

A hidden gem! Nestled right off 355, the park is unexpected; vast and peaceful, with plenty of activities to choose from. Take a stroll with the dog (just look at that face!) or jog around the lake, go fishing, play mini golf (a great course!

Nice little island of nature in the hustle and bustle of Gaithersburg and the 355/270 corridor. The trails are well kept and marked with tenth of a mile markers. Great to get a quick workout in, get the kiddos out and moving, and see some ducks and geese.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“Be aware that the restrooms are locked at 7 pm.”
