Confirmed from Boulder Ridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful hilltop space with a playground, plus great views.
What runners say about Boulder Ridge Park
“Nice Park with beautiful view on the Sierra Nevada and the Sutter Buttes on a Clear Day.”
The park itself is somewhat small but it borders a next level hiking trail that one can access after walking about 3/4ths of the trail. If you don't want to hike further, you can admire the amazing views from the park itself. Will definitely be back.
This is a wonderful community park on the top of the hill with amazing views of the valley and sunsets! With a little more than .5mi of walking paths and a great playground there’s something for everyone! And if you venture down towards the access road there’s even more trails.
This hillstop park provides some views of the valleys below. from the southern edge of the park. New homes are currently being built to the south, so views to the south won't be quite as good in the future. The park features the children's playground, basketball court and walking trails.
It has a very good view and is peacful.I would recommend a biking trail, more trees, sets of benches and tables with umbrellas and a dog park.

Plan your run at Boulder Ridge Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
