Confirmed from Brayton Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Brayton Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (115 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Great park and a ton of childhood memories here just an all around well kept facility”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“Some people just sit in their cars and enjoy nature and the shade.”

Very pleasant atmosphere with a handful of baseball fields and a playground. Perfect for watching a little league softball game or walking around the perimeter of the park on a gorgeous, sunny day. Wish I had a facility this cool that was closer to me.

★★★★★ — Yosef , May 2023

This park is within walking distance. It has a walking track, softball fields with a concession stand during games, and a playground. Parking is adequate, though during softball tournaments, it fills up fast. The park is well-kept and clean.

★★★★★ — Gail , Feb 2019

Fantastic public park with playground, 3 softball fields, walking track, plenty of parking and a good amount of grassy, tree lined areas maintaining the natural aesthetic of the location.

★★★★★ — Stephen , Apr 2019

Good place to relax at lunch. Lots of people walk the loop around the park. Some people just sit in their cars and enjoy nature and the shade.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
