Confirmed from Breitbeck Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 11 mentions

“Beautiful spot to go to cool off, go for a walk, or unwind and catch a sunset.”

Great city park! Love the walking paths, beautiful sunsets. They've been doing a lot of upgrades, the playground is currently torn out for an upgrade but it's a great place to walk and watch the sunset!

★★★★★ — Lauren , Jun 2022

So many options here during the summer time - splash pad, mini-golf for $2, basketball, playground, paved pathway along the water. Beautiful spot to go to cool off, go for a walk, or unwind and catch a sunset.

★★★★★ — Eric , Jul 2025

Such a beautiful park! Nice place to go sit and rest or walk around. Beautiful views! Plenty of shade and places for kids to play.

★★★★★ — Sarah , Jul 2021

The view of the water was great I'm sure at sunset it's even better. The park was fun and even had a fitness park by where the kids play so you can do some workouts too. Nice trails and walk ways for running or just walking around. Splash park also nearby with a snack bar. Nice open area with flowers and sites to see.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 21 mentions

“Lots of areas to explore and walk around, plenty of lake views, and lots of seating.”
