Confirmed from Bucher Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with sports facilities including tennis courts, a baseball field, a basketball court, and an ice rink, plus a playground.
What runners say about Bucher Park
“Nice neighborhood, dog park, playground with nice equipment, 2 very well kept baseball fields, open areas and walking trails.”
“Lot of trees but no shade on the playground itself so the slides can be very hot when it is sunny.”
Awesome park very clean. There is a trail all around with exercising station with images and instructions. There is a playground with slides, monkey bars, swings and a small playground area for toddlers. There are also fields for soccer(2) baseball, tennis and basketball.
This is a very nice park. Lots of swings slides and seating areas for adults. A really cool feature is they have a bike path around it for little kids to bike on. The park has different features for kids from age 2 to age 10. Will definitely be back to this park in the future.
The park is nice, they have a soccer field, 2 baseball fields, 2 tennis courts, an ice rink in the winter and a trail around the entire park.
I love this park. The play area is REALLY sunny. They have planted some trees on the west side that should provide some shade when they grow a bit. Otherwise a lovely park - great playground, tennis courts and basketball courts, walking path around the whole park, skating rink in the winter, and I hill that is popular…

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
