Confirmed from Buena Vista Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park with a baseball field, a pond, a playground and paved paths.

“Is a beautiful park where u can enjoy a birthday party & you can fish there at the pond while enjoying the quietness ♡♡♡”
“Nice park with parking and shade around pond for fishing or feeding ducks.”
“Caught 4 large catfish here not crowded and peaceful”
This is a great place to go for a quite get away! The sunrise is so beautiful from atop the hill if you get there early enough! A wonderful place to go for a romantic afternoon picnic! Even a little pond with a lovely fountain for a bit of recreational fishing, just be sure to bring you fishing license!
I live very close to this park and it's always kept very clean. There is a stocked pond. There's a great walking path, baseball field and a nice playground for the kids. Watch out for the geese. They're usually nesting and they get a little territorial. There's also plenty of room to run. Great place for the family ❤️
Walking track beautiful pond and nice picnic area with plenty of equipment for kids to have fun. Catfish are stocked in the tank 9 months and December- February tank is stocked with trout.
This is a really cool morning fishing spot. Parks and Wildlife keep it stocked twice a month. I've seen people catch catfish and rainbow trout here as well. It's a beautiful scenic Park in the middle of a neighborhood. There are quite a few stray dogs running around every time we're there.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
