Confirmed from Bull Run-Occoquan Trail Yates Ford Road Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area offering kid-friendly trails, as well as a gun range and a winery.

A railroad track runs through this park and it runs along the Occoquan River. Great place to take your dog. The trail is hilly in places. Very few people on the trail. Limited parking on the Yates side. There is an adventure camp for kids here.

The trail is beautiful and peaceful, and full of wildlife! I will warn that I did see a raccoon a little after 10 in the morning, near the trail as it bends back along the river, maybe a mile or so in from the Occoquan trail head.
