Confirmed from Calumet County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spot with electric & basic campsites for tents & RVs, plus winter activities such as sledding.
What runners say about Calumet County Park
“Staff is great, facilities are clean, and sites are good, some less level than others so pack enough boards for leveling.”
“Several woodsy trails for nice hikes, and beautiful sunset views along the lakeshore.”
We really enjoyed camping with our RV at Calumet County Park. It was a quieter time in the year (late October). Campsites were well maintained as were the trails. Potable water fill ups and a RV dump station were handy and allowed us to fully leverage our RV without leaving the park.
Have been coming here for over 10 years. Initially enjoyed their tent sites with electricity and water. Loved the toilets and showers on-site. This year, we stayed at their new cabins. They still had the fresh wood smell when we walked in. The park is clean, and the office has a small convenience store within it.
First time camping here. It suited our needs well--it was less than an hour from home, our campsite was just feet from Lake Winnebago, there were plenty of spots to walk, hike and sit. Being retired, we typically camp Monday-Thursday; it's quieter and more relaxing.
This is a great place to go camping, or to just spend the day. Beautiful views of Lake Winnebago, with gorgeous sunsets!! Great hiking trails as well. I love how the park is consistently making improvements each year.
