“Such beautiful architecture.”
This old Muncie train depot was a really cool stop on my road trip. The gentleman inside was extremely helpful and friendly. He pointed out the low spot in the floor where the ticketmaster stood. Such beautiful architecture. Now a stop on the bike path.
This paved trail offers a lot of view variety from the views of downtown including several historic homes, to river views and also some country. It includes several bridges each with its own character. The area continues to inprove the path. Sone is quite flat and some is a little hillier.
My husband, daughter and I walked 3k from the depot south to Jackson. We crossed went over to the walking bridge . the n on to Craddock and back out McCullough Blvd. To the McCullough Trailhead and back to the depot.. I love Muncie having so many trails to walk and encourage better health.
I love the Cardinal Greenway! It’s a great local resource and I’m on it nearly every day. The Greenway staff do a great job keeping the Greenway clear, especially after stormy weather. It has a number of trailheads, many of which have portable toilets.
