Confirmed from Cash Lake Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Couple of beautiful lakes, a pond and several easy hiking flat loop trails around the lake and in the woods.”
“This was a pleasant, easy walk on flat ground that goes through woods, marsh, and meadow and has nice views of Cash Lake.”
This is our favorite hiking trail in this area. Parking is easy, the trail is well maintained and it takes around 45 minutes to do the shortest loop of 3. Great views of the lake and plenty of places to stop, sit and enjoy the views. There is also a restroom midway.
Quick and easy trail. People fish around the perimeter of the lake. Plenty of free parking at the natural refuge center. The trail itself is so well maintained and clean with plenty of signs and maps to prevent getting lost with various intersections to get to other trails. Great trail.
Took this hike on a warm winter day (60 degrees) - it was beautiful ! The trail is not paved and at times the tree roots can be challenging to navigate!
Loved the trail and lake. My 4 year old daughter had no trouble doing the trail, fairly flat and only a couple muddy areas
