Confirmed from Ceciliani Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Ceciliani Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (113 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“The grounds are kept decently clean , have seen a few gross masks throughout the tanbark/play structure.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Lots of beautiful trees make the park feel magical.”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“The playground is big, big trees that provides good shade from the sun, a few picnic tables with BBQ grill.”

It was a cute park. There was a dried up creek in the side of the park, if I was to go back I do hope that the water gets refilled somehow. I imagine that the city keeps up the park itself, but because I went for a walk through the park during the summer of Covid-19, the maintenance staff is probably not able to do…

Great park for young kids. Two different play structures. I think its near a trail to walk? Not positive though! The grounds are kept decently clean , have seen a few gross masks throughout the tanbark/play structure. Wish people were more respectful.

Nice park for the picnic, have two playgrounds ones for kid 2 to 5 years old. And other is 5 to 12 years old. Have a really nice BBQ Grill and really big open field to walk and run your dogs. Have a tennis court and really nice restrooms. The best park for the picnic.

Joseph Ceciliani Park is a large park featuring sitting benches, a playground, a walking and a bike trail, and a generally good nature with an elementary and a middle school nearby. Overall, it’s a great park and a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 9 mentions

“All went well, with the only hitch in the whole deal was that the restrooms were locked, but out side of that it was a very nice evening stayed till closing 9:30pm .”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
