It's my family and former friends old stomping grounds, lol. We liked going to this park from WAAAY back earlier years 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's... enjoyed the picnics, playground, and walking hiking trails.
I walk or run here regularly. The county does a good job of keeping it maintained. There are places where the sidewalk has buckled from tree roots. Tread carefully! They REALLY NEED CROSSWALKS between the tennis courts and the ball fields.
Even while renovating from flood damage this park is beautiful. Paved trails through trees and lawns. Sports facilities. Shakespeare inspired garden with pergola and benches. Worth a visit.
Has everything for everyone. Nice walk areas, playground, soccer field, small pond to fish. Very peaceful.
