Confirmed from Centennial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Centennial Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (404 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 10 mentions

“Great trails with exercise stations on it, expansive, well kept baseball fields, and plenty of restrooms.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Beautiful well-maintained park, ball fields and bandshell, located on Regional Bike Trail.”

This might be my new favorite playground. It's far enough off the beaten path it shouldn't be too busy often. There's a pond! A sandbox. Bathrooms. Close parking. Lots of shade.

Very nice park in Brooklyn Center. Clean and well taken care of. Plenty of walking paths that include outdoor gyms along the way. They have all kinds of activities going on in the summer. You can walk from this park to Palmer. Great playground for the little ones.

★★★★★ — Al , Oct 2022

This place is seriously awesome for just getting away from it all. Kids love it, it's perfect for a couples' retreat, and honestly, it's even great if you just want some time to yourself. They have a really nice park and a great area for walking.

It was a great place to take my children ages 1 & 4.. they had small climb areas as well as big ones. We even walked the trail, bridge and looked at the fountain. It was a great day trip for the little ones to get out of the house for a few hours.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
