Confirmed from Central Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large park with an amphitheater, a playground and a splash pad, plus a bandshell hosting events.
What runners say about Central Park
There's a nice playground, walking trail, splash pad, amphitheater, and veteran's memorial. Overall, good park that is well maintained. Lots of things going on in the park throughout the summer.
I great splash pad with lots of shade for parents and water for kids! A fun little river and a playground and bathrooms nearby. A nice walking trail starts here too.
Great place for kids to play, and for a nice long walk on a paved trail. Splash park doesn't open until June.
I have lived here 25 years and the last time I was on this trail was perhaps 20 years ago. I am so surprised at the beautification of the area and the amazing work that has been done to make this short loop and inviting and quiet place.

“There's also a playground on the other side of the parking lot, and a bathroom.”
“Great place for kids to play, and for a nice long walk on a paved trail.”
“Swing set, sprinkler park, restrooms and water fountains.”
