Confirmed from Chadwick Lake Walking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Chadwick Lake Walking Trail
This is a mile long walking/ running trail around the Chadwick lake in Mississippi State University. You can see people taking an walk / run from early morning to night. The paved path is stroller friendly. So you can bring babies or people with wheelchair or pets to walk with.
Well lit. The main loop is .9 miles, but it has an exercise loop to add .2 to it.
What a nice run around the lake! From the variety of scenery to the beautiful ducks, I enjoyed my time here and looked forward to returning. It seems like you can dock small boats or kayaks into the lake as well with the boat loading station.
Easy loop with an outdoor gym attached. No shade. Only place in town I could find to walk/run continuously without having to deal with street traffic.
