Confirmed from Chaparral Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Chaparral Park
“Beautiful not too busy clean portajons and cant wait to go fishing.”
“It is quiet non-industrial area, so you can get away from the hustle and bustle and have a peaceful walk.”
Driving through the town of Lovington found this cute little place to stop! Spent some time with the ducks and the twins loved the little walk from the pond to the playground they loved the playground we had a very nice time here!
Very nice park with a small lake. It's in a pretty quiet area so I found it very peaceful. It also wasn't too busy at the park itself when I went on a Sunday evening. There are a few walking trails that go throughout the park that connect the multiple playgrounds, splash pad, basketball court, and the lake.
This is the nicest park in Lovington. It is really large park with areas for picnics, a playground, a splash pad, frisbee golf, a basketball court and a really pretty lake with ducks. It is perfect to walk with friends or with a dog.
This park is a great place to hang out! It has a variety of activities. I loved walking around the water and our group had room to play softball.
