We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Cherry Creek Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cherry Creek Trail
“Great run down from the river, avoids everything at street level and some cracking street art at points.”
Great run down from the river, avoids everything at street level and some cracking street art at points. Lacking in actual cherries sadly
This downtown spot is perfect for walking, jogging, and biking. I love taking friends here, and I use this trail to commute to all my dog-sitting appointments around the downtown area. Just ensure you’re on the bike route instead of the walking area.
Always a fan of a good riverwalk and park, and this did not disappoint. Beautiful, easy walk.
Loved the trail before walking, then with a E scooter, now with a E Bike...its amazing!

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
