We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Chicago Ridge Prairie Walk yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great little walk that offers some educational information and access to a lot of prairie flowers. I have walked by the prairie many times, but didn't realize the little walkway was tucked away down from the school. A great place to go early in the morning to see all the birds and rabbits!
The limestone path is great for walking. Really beautiful nature all around. It is perfect for my morning walk no cars to worry about. I go before school so I don't bother parents drop off.
