Confirmed from Chinqua-Penn Walking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a very pretty walking trail. I enjoy coming here when I'm in the area visiting family. The woods are beautiful and I love the bamboo. We even saw a family of deer walking through the cow pasture. Great place to feel in touch with nature and there are benches throughout the trail.

Talk about a hidden gem in Reidsville! This trail was absolutely beautiful. Over a mile and a half walk that completes the trail. We stumbled across some birds and cows. Everything appeared well maintained and clean which was lovely. There are benches throughout the pathway where you may enjoy some sightseeing.

This is a beautiful walking trail! I loved to see the cows and bulls. There is also a 50 year old goldfish! It's a short trip of about 2 miles. This trail is very well maintained! This is a beautiful way to enjoy nature.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
