It was a cute little hike on a rainy day. It has historical information on the local tribes and features some of the stones they would use to grind up acorns. Would love to come back with my kiddo. Good for kids and could even see this as a food field trip spot for homeschoolers or regular schoolers.
This is a quaint little park/picnic area! Great place for a picnic since there are plenty of picnic tables throughout the park. There is also a great informational hut located on the property that talks about the historical aspect of the park.
Great historical site along Watsonville Rd. Originally stopped here for the same reason I imagine most people do, to use the bathrooms, which are almost always clean. There's a small walking path with some really interesting facts about the surrounding area and peoples that once lived there.
It is a historic place where petroglyph were found. There is a preserved piece to look closely. Couldn't spot any on the rocks in nature as drawings have eroded and faded. There are 2 nice areas of benches under shades for picnic. Hiking trail is very small. Took us hardly 15 min to cover both sides
