Great trail! Great for walking, biking, and skating! It has turns and twists and a few small 'hills' that make for great fun on a skateboard or skates. The trail itself is a smooth asphalt and it appears to be cleared off regularly.
New trail that winds through Duke power land and has spurs which connect to parks on the Anclote Gulf or river. Those parks are there because of Duke energy's donation of the land as well. 3ventually there will be connectors with the Pinellas trail I believe.
This newer paved trail connects 3 Pasco County parks, starting either at Key Vista Nature Park or Anclote River Park. It's not long (3-4 miles), but has lots of shade and is not very crowded. The trail meets up with Anclote Blvd with plans soon to connect with Pinellas Trail in Tarpon Springs.
Really cool trail it takes you to through the Woods on a concrete path it three you to 3 different parks. Can't wait until it connects to the Pinellas Trail also you will see tortoises birds and bald eagles out there.
