It use to be a great park, I remember when there was a road the went way back in the park . It was very clean back then.you could see the river no brush hardly any trees around it..I use to go there alot in the 80's. Now it over grown and ugly.. they use to have a dog park in it too.
No playground! But a lovely large pond and wooded walking trail, fenced in dog area, lots of wildlife and a picnic table area that is covered. Nice area to just enjoy nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of every day businesses.
The city of Galion is trying to make this place better . There is somewhat of a dog park , a pavilion and kind of a hiking trail . It has potential but Galion does not like investing in their residents .
