Confirmed from Compton Creek Natural Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City greenway featuring walking paths, fitness equipment, picnic areas & an amphitheater.
What runners say about Compton Creek Natural Park
“When to pick up my brother he work for the city landscaping place look beautiful seeing natural get treated with respect 🙏 🙌 👏 👌”
“It’s a great short ride for families or a calm hour of exercise.”
I rode the Compton Creek path early Saturday and enjoyed how car-free it felt compared to busier bike routes. The path winds through a surprising patchwork of parks and community murals; it felt more local than touristy. Some areas need maintenance, so watch for uneven pavement.
Small, thoughtfully designed green space along the creek. Native plants bring in butterflies and birds. It’s a nice place for a quick walk or sit. Kids ride scooters on the smooth path. Feels like a neighborhood success story
