Confirmed from Connecticut River Walk and Bikeway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“The trail itself ended up being shorter than I thought it would be, but it was quiet and right along the river throughout, with nice views of the bridge and the sunset.”

Nice views from the walkways. It was a little confusing on how to get to the walkway with the construction. I didn't go far, but the pathway for walkers and bikers were nicely paved. Also, only two pieces of playground equipment not much for kids to play on.

I come here at least twice a week to walk my dog. We love it! We usually walk to the left past the hall of fame then turn back around to the parking lot. It’s really nice in the summer during sunset. Lots of people and a SAFE place. My only complaint is there are no restrooms.

I was looking for a place to get a run in while visiting - so this ended up being a good option. The trail itself ended up being shorter than I thought it would be, but it was quiet and right along the river throughout, with nice views of the bridge and the sunset.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
