Such a lovely scenic spot to take a walk. Plenty of free parking, no swimming allowed. People fish here and bring their boats. Worth the drive it's gorgeous.
As with anything in life, your experience depends on what you do. We came on 3.29.25 to take a walk and stretch our legs before grabbing breakfast at Heirloom Market. The gravel parking lot is huge, and it has porta potties. There's a short trail to walk around, or you can walk on the sidewalks.
This is an ideal spot to take photos, relax while the sun goes down, or just chill. I like taking walks here when I need time and space to think. It’s so relaxing and calming.
