Confirmed from Covered Bridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park boasting a playground and an earthen dam-created reservoir, as well as a covered bridge, wooded paths and a soccer field.
What runners say about Covered Bridge Park

“Gorgeous area to walk, bike, run, bird watch, or even just sit peacefully to watch the sunset after a long day.”
“Great little park, very quiet and has a good mix of equipment for kids to play on, a great walking trail, and has restroom on site.”
Small park with beautiful walking paths. If you want a quiet park for a stroll this place is great. They have play equipment scattered around but my sons favorite was a group of physics and noises generating toys. I’ve never seen these things before and so we were both pretty entertained.
Covered bridge park is a mix between shaded and open trails. Parking is usually limited and is about 6000 feet to complete.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
