Confirmed from Creekwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Creekwood Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (767 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“Would be even better if the city would sponsor a clean up along the trail and in the creek.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“With two kids I can’t take many photos, but this park, is beautiful, it’s perfect for the kids.”

Kids love the park although it gets covered with water when it rains. The adjacent dog park is big and convenient. The best part of the park is the walking trail. 5.7 miles end to end starting from the Creekwood Park parking lot.

I love this park! Great walkway for dogs, a great disc golf course runs along it as well and you can bike as well! Everyone here is usually super friendly and it feels very safe!

★★★★★ — Corin , Dec 2023

Really nice trail. No incline but you can get quite a bit of steps in at one time. Good nature to look at as well. Only downside is the days after it rains, it's typically a lot of mud and water in a few locations on the trail if you're doing some light jogging or something like that. Otherwise, it's a good experience.

★★★★☆ — Dwight , Apr 2023

Really nice casual walk/run. Nice group of people. It follows the creek and mostly shady. Restrooms are not the cleanest but it does have soap and towels. Nice having one there! They have dog bag dispenser but it's always empty and there is no place to dispenser except picnic area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 27 mentions

“During our two-hour walk, we crossed paths with about ten people and two dogs; everyone was courteous and friendly.”
